Ippocalyptica Most modern raw black metal sucks terribly. The idea of trying to achieve an “authentic” black metal atmosphere through intentionally crappy production values and simple song structures (that expose such bands for what they really are) should be insulting to black metal fans. Thankfully, Hier déjà mort is raw BM that is none of the above, and is instead technical, dynamic, varied, and fully worthy of its praise! Sordide is the real deal. This is raw BM I can stand behind 100 percent! Favorite track: La saveur de la fièvre.

Into The Voight One of the fiercest black metal albums I've heard in a while. Sordide were always great but it seems they found the sound that fits with them perfectly on Hier Déjà Mort. Heavier and fuller production (perhaps reinforced by the downtuning of the guitars) recorded live, like it always should be. The spirit of LLN Raw French Black Metal ain't dead, my friend. UGH !

tempetedufumier Fierce and raw with a lot of character to it. Every track is a different beast and the album as a whole feels very well paced. A gem. Favorite track: Hier déjà mort.

Tout est une question de perspective. En regardant la pochette d'Algleymi, on se dira : "c'est un constat d'échec de l'humanité face aux puissances cosmiques". Mais le gigantisme de cette silhouette est un signe que Misþyrming veut plutôt s'emparer de cette puissance et le black metal le confirmera très vite. Il est plus maîtrisé, massif et épique. Si le chant est déjà impressionnant, dégageant plus de haine, les guitares sont de leur côté absolument monumentales. Un chef-d'œuvre du genre ! Jordan Vauvert
